We have had days of rain, wind and hail, which has made it hard to get out on the trails with my beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback, Lani. This morning the sun came out but disappeared when we were 30 minutes from home. Yes, we were both drenched by the time we returned home. With the foul weather comes the opportunity to do more things inside. If you check out my two watercolor pages, you will see that I have been having a lot of fun and learning at the same time. When I finish a watercolor, I upload it to a forum for the class and the other students and the instructor can comment. That has been very helpful and sometimes entertaining. There are about 50 other students, some with incredible talent. It is quite inspiring. We are all learning from each other.
Since I wrote last I have finished two quilts and I am about to finish another. The one I am currently working on will remain a mystery until the first week of May when I am at a quilt retreat at the beautiful Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg. The quilt is what is known as a challenge. We have to work with a particular fabric and do something creative with it. I’ve posted a sneak preview above. Now it is back to work for me....Happy Spring.
