Seldom do I have two new Blog posts on the same day, but since I was successful with one I wanted to try another. This post is titled Stretch, as that Is my chosen word of the year. It covers the importance of stretching my body every day and also stretching my creative pursuits. I love trying new techniques, new materials and new subject matter, but admittedly that can get me in to trouble. Sometimes I go in too many directions at once and don't concentrate on improving one thing before moving on other things. Maybe I should have chosen the word Focus instead! Just so I continue to move forward, I am happy. The painting included in this post is part of a February Challenge to paint something everyday. Shoes are particularly interesting and fun to paint.
