Sketching & Watercolor: Journal Style: On Location
Today was the first day of my next six week watercolor class. This first week we will paint at home and then we will venture further afield. Next week we will paint in a coffee shop and in subsequent weeks we’ll go to museums, parks, zoos etc. I say “we” but it is really an on-line class. So far the students that have checked in are from all over the US, one from the UK, one from Canada and one from Australia. I really don’t have time for this, but I loved my last class so much I thought I would give it a try. I know I can squeeze it in. For example , I had a very full day which included having 4 new tires installed on my car. That took one hour which was enough time to draw then ink the above painting. I did the actual painting at home. I’ll just do what I can and not stress.
