As I try to recall where the month of May went, I realized I had to refer to my calendar. It was a month full of birthdays, sketch challenges, a 5 day visit to Seattle, lots of watercolor outings with friends and a baby shower. I couldn’t possibly recall everything. In between events I was actually back in my sewing studio making a couple of quilts for the new grandson. In reality I think I was just trying to keep myself occupied while waiting for his arrival. That momentous event happened last Thursday. He is beautiful, healthy and home with his proud parents and big sister. What else can I possibly say but that I am filled with joy and completely distracted about thinking about anything else.
