While up at Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg, I got in to the spirit Halloween. This is actually about the fourth time I have worked on this quilt up there but as you can see, it is quite intense. The pieces are all fused, easy, then satin stitched. The latter is the intense part and just imagine, this is the second quilt I have made like this. What on earth was I thinking. The first one is waiting for me to quilt it. I have no excuses not to start the quilting as I bought all the necessary thread at Pacific International Quilt Festival this past weekend. I wasn’t going to go to PIQF after the intense week in Healdsburg, but after talking to my sweet little granddaughter Thursday night, I couldn’t resist going down to visit her and she is only 15 minutes from the gorgeous quilt show. We had a fantastic visit. Can’t wait until the next visit for Halloween.
