A few beautifully placed trees are starting to turn lovely yellows, brilliant oranges and vibrant reds, while most of the community is still either covered with evergreens or parched golden brown with the continued draught. The air is perfect for either an early morning walk or perhaps a late afternoon hike. Soon I hope it will start to rain which forces me to stay inside and finish some more quilts, do a bit more painting and maybe clean out a few more closets.
Actually this fall the BIG event this autumn will be the arrival of a new granddaughter. Really, what could be more wonderful and heart warming.
Just yesterday I finished the above quilt that will be a very special gift for a very special little girl. I’m calling the quilt, “Circle of Love.”
